Dr. Seddik Afifi, President of Thebes Educational Institutions and Chairman of the Board of Trustees of Merritt University, called on Thebes Academy students to be creative and scientific thinking, during the launch event of the first student scientific conference, “Towards a Creative Graduate...in Light of Egypt’s Vision 2030.”
Afifi stressed that the conference is an opportunity for students to express their various creativity in all fields, and that students have the ability to achieve miracles if they are given the opportunity.
Afifi explained that Egypt has a long history of creativity, noting that the Pharaohs invented many techniques that are still used today, such as nails, brain surgery, and pyramids.
Afifi also praised the creativity of students at Thebes Academy, noting that one of the students invented a smart cane for the blind.
