Today, Thebes Academy received a delegation from the Palestinian Embassy in Cairo, headed by the cultural advisor of the embassy, Dr. Naji Al-Naji, and in the presence of Dr. Iyad Abu Al-Hunud, the official in charge of academic and missionary affairs at the embassy, and Professor Salim Musa Al-Taluni, the official in charge of university affairs and student activities at the embassy.
They were received by Dr. Seddik Afifi, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Taiba Educational Foundation, Dr. Hana Al-Khatib, Acting Dean of the Academy, and Professor Rasha Gohar, Director of the Immigrants Department at the Academy. The meeting began with a speech by Dr. Seddik Afifi, who said: We welcome you and welcome every young man and woman from Palestine, and we confirm that they are inside their country, Egypt, and we promise By providing all the facilities and support available to them for the love of Palestine and in support of the Egyptian national security in particular and the Arab in general, as we are interested in building a scientific and practical personality based on building an Arab national identity capable of facing the difficult current and future challenges.
For his part, the Cultural Counselor of the Palestinian Embassy, Dr. Naji Al-Naji, said, “We thank you for the welcome and appreciation that we found from the time we entered the Academy, and it was very clear that there was great love and interest from the Academy’s staff in the visit
His Excellency added, “The State of Palestine is concerned with educating its children, as Palestine is considered to have the lowest percentage of illiterate people in the world, and Palestinian students have a persistent passion for learning all the time.
After that, Dr. Seddik Afifi, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Taiba Educational Group and Cultural Counselor of the Embassy, Dr. Naji Al-Naji, began signing the educational cooperation protocol, and after completing the signing, gifts and souvenirs were exchanged.
