Counselor Dr. Salem Younis Abu-Ghazaleh, Chairman of the Supreme Council of Arab and Egyptian Tribes, issued a decision appointing Dr. Seddik Afifi, President of Taiba Educational Institutions and Chairman of the Board of Trustees of Merritt University, as a member of the Supreme Council of the Arab and Egyptian Tribes Council, provided that the decision is implemented from its date.
The Supreme Council of Arab and Egyptian Tribes includes a number of Egyptian and Arab tribes, including the Abbasid and Samalus tribe in Buhaira, Al Mutair, Al Wafi, Hawara and Khuwaylid. And his service under the leadership of President Abdel Fattah el-Sisi.
Dr. Seddik Afifi is considered a great addition to the Council of Arab and Egyptian Tribes and to the Supreme Council of the Council, with his rich scientific and administrative history, which extends for more than fifty years. Chairman of the Arab Council for Ethics and Citizenship and Chairman of the Management Sciences Committee of the Supreme Council of Culture. He also worked as an advisor to the Ministers of Finance, Administrative Development, Economy, Tourism, Supply and Industry and the Cabinet Information Center for various periods.
