Under the patronage of Dr. Seddik Afifi, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Taiba Educational Institutions, and Chairman of the Board of Trustees of Merit University, the second preparatory meeting was held today at the headquarters of the Taibah Educational Academy in Maadi to start implementing the initiative of Prof. Dr. Seddik Afifi “Dar Al Salam without illiteracy .. for a decent life”, Which is considered a participation in the great initiative of His Excellency President El-Sisi, "a decent life".
The second preparatory meeting was held in the presence of Major General Ayman Al-Saeed, President of Dar Al-Salaam neighborhood. .
The meeting was also attended by a high-level delegation from the General Authority for Literacy and Adult Education, and the delegation included Ms. Nourhan Sayed Mohamed Eid, director of the Cairo branch of the General Authority for Literacy and Adult Education, Ms. Azza Abdel Ghani Sayed, head of the Dar Al Salam branch of the authority, and Mr. Hassan Mohamed Ali, director of the Dar Al Salam administration Ms. Sabreen Sayed Ibrahim, Director of Dar Al Salam Social Administration, Dr. Khaled Azzam, Director of Helwan Academy, Ms. Abeer Talaat, Director of Public Relations in Dar Al Salam District, Ms. Najah Abdel Hamid, Civil Society Officer in the neighborhood, Mr. Abdul Qawi Hussein, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Al Reda Association, and Ms. Laila Abdel Basset, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Local Community Development Association in Manshiyat El-Sadat.
In the meeting, the timetable for starting the implementation of the initiative of Prof. Dr. Seddik Afifi was discussed, and discussions took place during which a number of participants took place, and the determination of who will be eradicated was also discussed, and an annual goal was set for the initiative, which is to eradicate the illiteracy of five thousand citizens annually, and it was agreed to organize A convoy calling for the eradication of illiteracy in the Dar es Salaam region, to start the convoy during the month of October.
